About The Position
Network Engineer 5G Plano, TX 6 + Months
Requirements
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent experience in a network engineering field
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience required
- Strong understanding of BGP and ISIS routing protocols
- Good understanding of Transport technologies
- Knowledge of the OSI reference model
- Core competencies include interpersonal, communications (written & verbal), and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple commitments simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Ability to plan for work during network maintenance windows
- Willingness to perform shift work
- Proven ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately
