About The Position

This role involves collaborating with finance and IT teams to understand business requirements for financial processes. The developer will design and develop SuiteScript customizations, workflows, and integrations to automate tasks, improve reporting, and streamline financial processes. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining NetSuite financial modules, developing data integrations with other systems, performing testing, and documenting all customizations. The role also requires staying updated on NetSuite features, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with upgrades and migrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and customising cloud-based ERP systems.
• Recent experience in NetSuite financials.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices.
• Proficient in SuiteScript, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• NetSuite technical skills including suite script, Java script, workflows, reporting, saved search & others.
• Good Communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with business users directly and ability to navigate thru ambiguity.
• Self starter, willing to step in other areas as necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with XML, REST APIs, and data integration tools.
• NetSuite functional skills around Lead to Cash including Order Management, Fulfillments, and Invoicing & Revenue.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to gather and understand business requirements related to financial processes.
• Design and develop SuiteScript customizations, workflows, and integrations to automate tasks, improve reporting, and streamline financial processes.
• Configure and maintain financial modules within NetSuite, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Develop and implement data integrations with other systems, such as banks, payment processors, and ERP systems.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of customizations.
• Document all customizations and maintain clear and concise documentation.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest NetSuite features and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the NetSuite financial module.
• Assist with NetSuite upgrades and migrations.
