About The Position
BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Sr. .NET Web Architect position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida. The incumbent must live in Florida and be available to work in Tallahassee, Florida if required. Consultants are required to be off the week of Christmas and New Year unless services are required with prior approval from division leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems Degree, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with Oracle Databases, Oracle functions, stored procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning.
- Minimum 8 years of experience developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications, & Proficient in converting ASP.net web forms to MVC.
- Experience with C#.Net, MVC, ASP.NET 4.XX, OOPS, Webservices, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with Dot Net core application development.
- Familiarity with Azure services and application development on Azure.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server; Creating and Writing Stored Procedures.
- Experience with batch processing and data loading.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services 2017 and above.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Experience testing custom applications, reports, large data sets, or dashboards.
- Producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designs, testing.
- Experience with working with development teams on large enterprise projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing specifications as well as overall planning and management of projects.
- Meet with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provides monthly written reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions.
- Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate.
- Ensure technical direction and standards are being followed.
- Develop project plans and measures actual progress against the plans.
- Assure that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs, and reports.
- Demonstrate an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions.
- Manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.
- Manage change control within the projects.
- Obtain sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that affect the critical path.
- Write documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.
