About The Position

The Sr Mortgage Advisor role is focused on using skills to connect with members and brokers to create a lasting positive impact on members and BECU's journey. Contributions and the deepening of mortgage sourcing and member relationships are the driving force behind the growth and success of BECU. This role involves driving significant and positive change in BECU, where contributions are valued and growth is continually fostered.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education related experience
Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan sales experience, self-generating mortgage volume of $12 million or greater annually
Compliance with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)

Responsibilities

Create meaningful mortgage solutions by connecting with members in person and through brokers, understanding their needs, offering the right solutions, and building long-lasting relationships.
Build and maintain strong relationships as the first point of contact for mortgage products and services, working to deepen relationships with agents, builders, and other professionals.
Generate new mortgage relationships through prospecting and lead generation to drive BECU's growth.
Contribute to individual and team goals, coaching and developing referral generation, and enhancing the member experience.
Represent BECU in the community by actively participating in community organizations and events to generate new mortgage business and educate others about BECU's mortgage products and services.
Serve as an escalation point for member issues and concerns, demonstrating the value and support BECU offers.
