About The Position

The Sr. Molding Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates. This role is for the 3rd Shift, which runs Sunday-Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous manufacturing experience
• 3+ years of Injection molding experience
• Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test
• Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
• Great attention to detail is required
• Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential
• Above average basic math skills and reasoning ability
• Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Forklift certification

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, and maintain equipment as needed to support operations
• Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipment with direction from management or qualified associates
• Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees
• Document production, maintenance, and QC audits performed
• Organize and maintain the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas and the department as a whole
• Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need
