About The Position
Glint Tech Solutions is hiring a Sr. Modem Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ. This role supports ground station development and restricted defense systems, focusing on modem software design, coding, testing, and integration for mission-critical projects.
Requirements
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's in Software Engineering (8+ yrs exp) OR Master's (6+ yrs exp)
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols, Linux, software-defined modems
- Experience with DevSecOps, cloud (AWS preferred), and network systems
- Proficiency in C++ and C
Responsibilities
- Code, test, integrate, and document modem software solutions (C++, C)
- Perform requirements analysis, research, and feasibility studies
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with software/hardware systems
- Collaborate with senior management, engineering teams, and external customers
- Provide leadership and direction to junior engineers when required
