About The Position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect leader to help scale its GenAI/ML business in the Auto/Manufacturing and Media & Entertainment segments. The AWS machine learning portfolio includes services like Quick, Kiro, Bedrock, AgentCore, and SageMaker. The GenAI/ML market is early in its maturity, but most customers are looking to incorporate it into their business to improve customer engagement, optimize operations, manage risk, and glean more insights from their data. The NAMER Specialist Organization is looking for an accomplished Solutions Architect leader deeply familiar with GenAI/ML services, who has a track record of overachievement and has built strong, deep relationships with F1000 and/or G2000 organizations. This leader will partner with Sales and Product teams to build a strategy focused on winning new customers and growing existing customers for the long term. The ideal candidate will possess top-tier leadership skills with the ability to execute on key business initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to own the technical strategy definition and execution of AWS’s strategy for GenAI/ML Services in Auto/Manufacturing and Media & Entertainment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
• 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

Responsibilities

• Defining strategic workloads to drive necessary technical relationships with customers and partners.
• Providing technical depth to help the Sales field prioritize GenAIML for their customers.
• Building a high-performing team of deeply technical Solution Architects.
• Working closely with product and other GenAI/ML teams as the voice of the customer to help them evolve products and address customer issues, concerns, and requests.
• Analyzing and determining key customer insights from business drivers, customer feedback, and operating metrics.
