About The Position

The Senior Manager, Field Marketing develops and executes strategic, localized marketing initiatives designed to drive brand awareness, customer consideration, and store traffic across exclusive retail locations and TotalWireless.com. In this role, you will lead end-to-end field marketing strategies—including local event activations, sponsorships, co-op program management, and partner enablement. Serving as the primary marketing consultant for regional sales leaders, store owners, and master agent partners, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating local growth. While initially focused on the Total Wireless brand, this role is expected to scale to support additional portfolio brands as field marketing operations expand. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and takes a hands-on approach to executing high-impact regional campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage concurrent project pipelines, track local budgets, and calculate campaign ROI.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently from inception through completion within specified timelines.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfortable presenting event proposals and campaign strategies to leadership and external partners.
  • High degree of self-motivation and comfort working independently in a high-growth, dynamic setting.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally/regionally up to 60%.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of direct experience in field marketing, local marketing, or regional campaign execution—strongly preferred within telecom, wireless, or multi-unit retail.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional partners, external agencies, and third-party dealer/agent networks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing management platforms or basic graphic design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the "eyes and ears" of the brand in the field—continuously gathering, synthesizing, and reporting on regional competitor activities, localized pricing trends, and rival promotions.
  • Develop and execute rapid-response counter-strategies to protect and grow market share in high-priority territories.
  • Act as the primary marketing point of contact ("front door to marketing") for regional sales leadership, store owner-operators, and master agents.
  • Maintain and govern the regional field marketing toolkit. Oversee local co-op program guidelines, store spend approvals, and partner compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Experience team to produce customized collateral, signage, and promotional assets tailored to local market preferences.
  • Plan, lead, and measure market-specific activations, including grand openings, customer appreciation days, and local marketing workshops.
  • Identify and activate strategic local partnerships (e.g., community events, sports teams, local charities) to elevate brand presence within target neighborhoods.
  • Partner with experiential and staffing agencies to conceptualize and execute high-impact field activations. Co-design activation concepts, lead detailed Run-of-Show (ROS) briefings, and deliver comprehensive training materials to ensure flawless, authentic execution.
  • Manage, track, and optimize regional market budgets, event expenditures, and local co-op funds.
  • Lead comprehensive post-campaign reporting, blending qualitative feedback from store owners with quantitative POS data to prove campaign ROI and guide future budget allocations.
  • Define, monitor, and report on regional key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost-per-acquisition (CPA), incremental store traffic lift, and local market share growth.
