About The Position
Manage and lead a group of mechanical designers Envision and methodically implement the future state of worldclass mechanical design enabled by our digital transformation roadmap Guide, coach, and build a cohesive and progressive team We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader with a strong track record in mechanical design, deep expertise in CAD, and proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). The ideal candidate will bring experience in configuration management and change control, a natural curiosity to drive digital transformation, and a commitment to leading through example.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6-8 years of management experience
- Proven competency developing complex electromechanical systems, packaging, fixtures, and tooling
- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with metal machining and sheetmetal fabrication
- Strong understanding of various material properties and their coatings and finishes
- Thorough understanding of GD&T and drafting best practices
- Strong CAD knowledge and experience with NX or other comparable CAD package
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM v2312 or newer
- Expert level in Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- An advanced degree preferred
- Prior experience in the semiconductor equipment industry is a plus
- Familiarity with other alternative fabrication techniques such as casting and additive manufacturing and design experience with ceramics are pluses
- experience with model-based-definition design (MBD) and model-based-enterprise (MBE) is a plus
- Active Workspace and Product Configurator is a big plus
- Keen understanding of and experience with large assembly management methodologies
