Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
1 year of work experience in a medical office environment or equivalent healthcare experience is required.
Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supports the front office by coordinating and overseeing daily front office operations to ensure effective and efficient workflow.
Responsible for training all new front office clerical staff.
Coordinates staff schedule.
Prepares EMR for new patients to include all essential patient information.
Proactively reviews daily patient appointments to ensure appropriate and efficient scheduling.
Scans all patient information into appropriate area within practice management system.
Works collaboratively and proactively with Practice Manager to identify front office issues and recommend process improvement.
