Requirements

Materials science, Chemistry and various coatings processes, such thermal CVD.
Fabrication and manufacturing of coating coated semiconductor components
Modeling for thermal and gas flow
Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function
Material analysis and characterization as well as surface analysis of films and coatings.
Failure analysis for structural integrity of coatings related components
Understanding and use of various problem solving methodologies, such as 8D, six sigma, etc.

Responsibilities

Leads thin film/coating development and designs process DOEs to get the coating and materials property to meet requirements.
Leads thin film/coating, and materials characterizations.
Responsible to thin film/coating defects control.
Work with variety teams to do quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action.
Identifies and drives broad based systemic supplier resolutions at the process level.
May lead projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
Leads others to solve complex problems, using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
