About The Position

As a Senior Compliance Engineer/Technologist, you will be an integral team member of a critical business function and a rapidly expanding discipline. This role will be responsible for executing complex strategic, proactive enterprise-wide programs to achieve and maintain material compliance with global regulations. This will require regulatory interpretation, data management, documentation, and cross functional coordination for products and materials.

Requirements

Deep knowledge of materials regulations
Strong leadership and cross functional influence skills
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to manage ambiguity and complex regulatory landscapes
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, Chemical, Environmental Science or a closely related discipline; or equivalent in experience
4-8+ years of related work experience in compliance testing, regulatory compliance, sustainability, or environmental science-related field

Responsibilities

Lead compliance activities related to regulations such as Prop65, REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS
Perform advanced BOM analysis and compliance risk assessments
Drive lifecycle compliance strategy for new product development and existing products
Interpret and apply global regulations to products, components, and suppliers
Prepare compliance documentation, reports, and declarations for internal and external use
Lead change management for regulatory updates impacting existing product
Interface with regulatory agencies, laboratories, and suppliers as a technical expert
Develop and improve compliance processes, tools, and documentation systems
Mentor compliance engineers and analysts
Perform special projects and other duties as needed
