About The Position

In today’s connected world, the effective use of communication and alignment to strategy are imperative. Driving business results and real-time communications is critical to the success of any organization. The Sr Marketing Communications Specialist plays a critical role in shaping the company’s brand presence. They are responsible for executing external communication strategies that enhance brand awareness, connect with key stakeholders, and support business objectives. They will oversee social media channels in collaboration with creative agencies, conduct social listening to identify opportunities and trends, and ensure the strategic use of digital platforms. They will develop and manage content marketing efforts by publishing useful and relevant content - including blogs, social media posts, and other digital messaging - to enhance brand awareness and audience engagement. They will build and manage the marketing asset library and development marketing policies and procedures. They will also serve as a marketing generalist assigned by their manager to the areas within the marketing team where there is greatest need.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field, supplemented with experience in marketing, agency or communications environment.
  • Minimum of five (5+) years of full-time experience in marketing communications and or content development.
  • Exceptional written communication skills and a talent for digital storytelling that leads to engagement on multiple digital channels.
  • Demonstrated digital marketing experience, including social media, email, and content marketing with an understanding of associated success metrics and analytics.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Suite and Canva) and digital marketing tools (social media platforms, email marketing software like MailChimp).
  • Experience using WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required to deliver clear perspectives on complex business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Execute annual marketing communications plan that aligns with BRF business strategies leveraging program analytics, consumer, customer, and competitive insights.
  • Identify, create, and distribute compelling content across all communication channels to inform, inspire, and engage relevant audiences.
  • Design and produce visually engaging marketing materials, including social media graphics, event flyers, infographics, and email templates, following established brand guidelines.
  • Support execution of integrated marketing campaigns for BRF brands which may include video production, email marketing, direct mail, PR, digital media, and other brand enhancing assets.
  • Manage day-to-day social media operations, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics to inform improvements.
  • Help develop and execute digital marketing campaigns and content calendar to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Conduct social listening to monitor brand sentiment, industry trends, and customer feedback, leveraging insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Lead website content development and management, ensuring the site remains up-to-date, visually compelling, and optimized for user experience and SEO.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create and update website pages, blog content, and digital assets that support brand initiatives.
  • Update and maintain the corporate and branded websites through WordPress, including creating new pages and optimizing existing content for performance and accessibility.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, optimizing social media, website, and digital marketing efforts based on data-driven insights.
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, PR firms, and other external partners to drive successful marketing initiatives.
  • Support internal teams with marketing materials, presentations, and communication strategies to enhance brand visibility.
  • Lead ad hoc marketing and communication projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business priorities.
  • Establish and communicate policies and procedures to maintain brand consistency and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Oversee workflow process development and documentation. Drive asset management process and train team on how to access.
