About The Position

The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer evaluates, designs, and develops manufacturing processes and products and is responsible for identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, designing new products and processes, as well as ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Process Improvement Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in process mapping and analytical tools.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Create detailed process through Value Stream Maps (VSMs), documenting current and future state workflows.
• Evaluate current organizational processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Gather and analyze data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to quantify process inefficiencies and track improvements over time.
• Collaborate with teams to develop and propose practical solutions, including process redesign, automation, or technology enhancements.
• Facilitate change management efforts by communicating proposed improvements, obtaining buy-in from stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation.
• Lead in continuous improvement projects, kaizen events, employing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, to drive ongoing process enhancements.
• Develop training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to ensure that optimized processes are effectively adopted and maintained by teams.
