About The Position

L&T Technology Services Ltd. is seeking Sr. Manufacturing Engineer(s) for multiple full-time openings in Edison, NJ, and various other locations. The role involves leading the design of manufacturing processes for clients, directing team members in engineering analysis to identify and mitigate risks, and optimizing designs. Responsibilities include managing Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), utilizing advanced root cause analysis for issue resolution, identifying and implementing process improvements for engineering efficiencies, overseeing the evaluation of pieces for quality standards, reviewing and approving reports on manufacturing trends, and approving the documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any) or a related field, plus two (2) years of engineering experience.
  • One (1) year of the two (2) years of experience must include experience with Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), SolidWorks, PTC Creo, Ansys, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, and PTC Windchill.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any) or a related field plus five (5) years of progressive experience in the engineering field.
  • One (1) year of five (5) years of progressive engineering experience must include experience with Design Failure Mode and Tolerancing (GD&T), SolidWorks, PTC Creo, Ansys, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, and PTC Windchill.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of manufacturing processes for clients.
  • Direct team members in performing engineering analysis of manufacturing processes to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Optimize designs.
  • Manage the Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Utilize advanced root cause analysis to resolve engineering issues.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to create engineering efficiencies.
  • Oversee the evaluation of pieces for consistency with quality standards.
  • Review and approve reports summarizing manufacturing trends.
  • Approve the documentation of the manufacturing processes and procedures.
