Additionally, the engineer will serve as the manufacturing engineering lead for assigned NPI programs, ensuring early risk identification and readiness, and leading PFMEA, control plan development, and manufacturing readiness reviews. Complex cross-functional problem-solving involving process capability, yield loss, chronic downtime, or safety risk will be a key responsibility, applying advanced root cause techniques and ensuring corrective actions are implemented and sustained. The role also involves ensuring manufacturing processes and ERP routers comply with internal procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory standards, and supporting the development of clear and accurate internal procedures. Proactive identification and mitigation of process and equipment safety risks, and participation as a MESH element champion are expected. The engineer will support site-level CI initiatives, including growth, throughput, productivity, and cost-out projects, serving as a technical leader in RIEs, Kaizen events, and CI Week activities. Finally, they will ensure manufacturing data (routers, standards, labor, and cycle times) is accurate, maintained, and auditable in the ERP system, and investigate new technologies, leading the technical review and procurement process for new Capital Equipment.
