We will rely on your professional expertise to develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. The Sr Manufacturing Engineer will develop strong communications with internal teams to estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and electrical/mechanical components, systems and applications
  • Solid understanding of lean techniques, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement mindset
  • Solid background in troubleshooting advanced electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Experience in writing detailed work instructions
  • Experience with MRP and other manufacturing systems
  • A data-driven decision making approach
