Sr Manager, WW Product Marketing

About The Position

Contributes to the leadership of the strategic direction, development, and management of the product portfolio across the Everyday Wellness, Skin, Hair & Body Care and Healthy Lifespan Verticals. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive product strategies, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, and leading key projects with global cross-functional teams. The position requires monitoring category performance, conducting market research, managing innovation pipelines, developing product concepts and business cases, and creating educational and marketing materials. Collaboration with regional teams on their product strategies is also a key aspect. The role is part of the Worldwide Product Marketing team, which is responsible for Global Product Strategy, the Global New Product Development Process, and the Global Product pipeline, acting as a Center of Excellence for Product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related degree
  • MBA, or business/marketing experience
  • 8+ years of experience
  • At least 6-8 years of brand & product marketing management experience in a traditional Consumer Packaged Goods company (skin & personal care, vitamins & dietary supplements, functional beverages)
  • Industry and/or product experience in the nutrition category
  • At least 5+ years of P&L and project management experience
  • Experience developing product portfolio strategies
  • Experience building strong NPD business cases with accompanying strong rationale
  • Experience analyzing business metrics.
  • Demonstrated successes in new product development, with a thorough understanding of taking a product from concept to launch
  • Cross-functional team management experience, collaborating closely with other commercial functions to achieve common goals
  • Experience managing multiple product segments and multiple product introductions simultaneously
  • Leading complex category strategies in large CPG organizations
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills that demonstrate the ability to be a good listener, inspire, provide clear direction, make sound decisions, and multitask

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies for Everyday Wellness, Skin, Hair & Body Care & Healthy Lifespan Product Verticals, aligning with market needs and organizational goals.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept development through to market launch and beyond, ensuring products meet quality, cost, and performance standards.
  • Lead key projects involving global cross-functional teams in the development of innovative products and enhancements, ensuring Herbalife's competitive edge in the marketplace.
  • Monitor category performance against sales & profit targets, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve goals.
  • Conduct marketing research to gain insights on product development, positioning, Distributor and consumer insights.
  • Managing end-to-end innovation pipelines, including Pro2col integration, LIFE I/O innovation, personalized nutrition initiatives, and additional segments defined in our long-term strategic plan delivering strategic clarity and driving disciplined execution.
  • Develop product concepts and business cases for global product launches, including product formulation, positioning, pricing, packaging, LCDs, trademark clearance, launch marketing campaign.
  • Develop education, training and marketing materials for global product launches.
  • Partner/collaborate with regions on their regional product strategies and business cases.
