About The Position

Lead the team that builds and maintains our multi-brand, international Web Platform. You own the Web Platform and the development team, and partner with those groups providing complementary website services and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
  • Experience with Next.js, Vercel, Acquia/Drupal or another enterprise CMS, and search platforms such as Algolia or OpenSearch.
  • Proven ability to lead software engineers and specialists on a modern web platform.
  • Experience delivering multi-brand or international websites.
  • Experience integrating web applications with backend APIs and services.
  • Proven track record managing full lifecycle software projects and leading technical teams.
  • Experience with AI-enabled testing tools, automated coding assistants, or AI-driven development workflows.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and how web applications consume backend services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, website security, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Passion for mentoring engineers and building high-performing teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work in e-commerce, multi-brand digital experiences, or enterprise web platforms.
  • Certifications are useful, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Acquia Certified (Drupal or Cloud), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers and platform specialists.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality, scalable, multi-brand international Web Platform.
  • Own application, content, search, and eCommerce delivery on the platform.
  • Work with partner teams to consume their APIs and services for content, data, and eCommerce.
  • Partner with groups that own complementary website services and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with product management, UX/UI design, and other stakeholders to turn business needs into technical work.
  • Own the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Follow best practices for coding standards, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).
  • Integrate AI-driven testing frameworks and coding tools to improve development efficiency and quality.
  • Evaluate new tools and methods that improve engineering efficiency and product quality.
  • Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and delivery milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
  • Ensure security, performance, and scalability are part of the development process.
  • Participate in recruitment, performance reviews, and professional development of engineering staff.
