About The Position

Supports the strategic alignment, operational success, and performance management of VBC arrangements. Provides strategic oversight for VBC analytics initiatives across multiple regions or business units. Influences design and implementation of innovative VBC models. Ensures that arrangements are functioning successfully and works to improve quality of care while reducing costs.

Requirements

7+ years experience in a healthcare delivery systems role.

Nice To Haves

Extensive knowledge of managed care and how provider reimbursement policies relate to the control of medical claims costs.
Full comprehension of provider contracts and the potential impact the regulatory/legislative environment has on reimbursement strategies.
Advanced communication/presentation skills.
Understanding of internal and external database applications.
Knowledge of market-place delivery (understanding of provider relationships).
Experience with PowerBI/Tableau.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic projects for VBC model development and performance evaluation.
Partner with senior leadership to align analytics with organizational goals.
Oversee complex forecasting and predictive modeling for VBC programs.
Perform complex financial assessments.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of analytics.
Partner with Clinical, Network, Actuarial to establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with the most complex/high value initiatives and/or highest risk and revenue generating provider systems, networks and value-based relationships.
Leverage reporting/data to monitor contract performance against financial, clinical, cost and efficiency targets.
Drive provider performance; partner with local market to ensure pathways to performance against business objectives.
Serve as SME for VBC analytics and mentor managers and analysts.
Assist with onboarding and problem solving.
