We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative talent management practitioner to lead several talent management initiatives for Brinker. This person will focus on overseeing all aspects of the performance management process including selection & development assessments, design/redesign of leadership programs, mid-year and end-of-year processes. As the Sr. Manager, Talent Management, this role will elevate the Team Member and leader experience through clear, easy to implement processes and resources. The role will serve as the subject matter expert on selecting, onboarding, performance managing, engaging and retaining talent, partnering closely with the PeopleWorks, Leadership Development, Training, and Belonging & Wellbeing teams on tools, processes, programs, and resources.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in talent management, leadership development, training, or PeopleWorks
  • Strong background in HR, psychometrics, and selection & development assessments
  • Strong background managing processes and programs (leadership programs, year-end talent processes)
  • People leadership experience
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Exception communication skills - Clear, simple, and concise communication
  • Data-savvy – ability to leverage metrics to drive decisions
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to positively influence cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Experience supporting frontline or dispersed workforce

Responsibilities

  • Own, refresh, and maintain Brinker’s selection & development assessments in partnership with our assessment vendors.
  • Partner with the PeopleWorks and Training teams to refresh and enhance onboarding processes, content, and tools to successfully onboard Team Members into the organization and their new roles.
  • Design/redesign leadership programs across all levels of Brinker’s leadership in order to build a bench of talent.
  • Own the end-to-end performance management process in order to build a culture of accountability, set clear expectations, measure results, and provide Team Members and leaders regular feedback.
  • Partner with the analytics team to leverage data and insights to make informed decisions that support and raise the bar on talent, enabling succession planning, development, appreciative & constructive feedback, and management of Brinker’s talent pipeline.
  • Serve as the go-to partner for field leaders, PeopleWorks, Operations, and other functional partners on Talent Management.
  • Partner closely with the Communications and PeopleWorks teams to communicate performance management processes, timelines, and expectations in a clear, simple, concise manner.
