About The Position

Hologic is seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Senior Manager, Strategic Contracting to support the Breast Health Solutions (BHS) division. This role is responsible for driving contracting excellence through the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of commercial frameworks, governance models, processes, and business standards. Working in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Commercial Operations, and Executive Leadership, the Senior Manager will play a key role in optimizing contracting strategies to maximize profitable growth, improve commercial effectiveness, and ensure consistency in pricing and contracting practices across the business. The position will support the Associate Director in advancing enterprise contracting capabilities, strengthening contracting governance, enhancing analytical insights, and driving strategic initiatives that improve business outcomes while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in contracting, legal review, commercial operations, finance, sales operations, or related business functions.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing complex projects, initiatives, or teams.
  • Experience developing and implementing contracting processes and governance models.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with sales organizations to support commercial growth while maintaining profitability objectives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Deep understanding of commercial contracting, deal economics, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and business intelligence/reporting tools including AI capabilities.

  • JD, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working in medical device, healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, or a highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Experience negotiating and managing complex customer agreements preferred.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, contract management, and pricing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentorship to direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear individual and team goals aligned with departmental and business objectives, and monitor progress against them.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, deliver constructive feedback, and support career development and growth plans for team members.
  • Manage team workload and priorities, allocating resources effectively to meet business deadlines and deliverables.
  • Identify skill gaps and training needs, and support development of technical and professional capabilities across the team.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard team members, ensuring the team has the skills and capacity to support BHS contracting priorities Address performance issues promptly and professionally, partnering with Human Resources as needed.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive team environment that supports employee engagement and retention.
  • Lead the proactive management of contracting frameworks, governance processes, and operational standards across the BHS business.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, Commercial Operations, and leadership teams to structure contract strategies that maximize business results.
  • Review and evaluate customer agreements to ensure alignment with commercial objectives, pricing policies, and risk management standards.
  • Establish and maintain contract approval workflows, documentation standards, and compliance controls.
  • Analyze contract performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
  • Drive process improvements that reduce cycle times, improve visibility, and enhance the overall contracting experience.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve pricing and contracting processes, tools, systems, and workflows.
  • Support the development of scalable commercial frameworks that improve execution, consistency, and business performance.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations and Finance teams to enhance reporting, analytics, and performance measurement capabilities.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on operational efficiency, revenue optimization, and commercial effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track pricing and contracting outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales leaders and business stakeholders on pricing and contracting matters.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across competing priorities.
  • Support change management efforts related to new pricing strategies, contracting processes, and governance models.
  • Provide coaching, training, and communication to key stakeholders to ensure adoption of best practices.
  • Represent the Pricing & Contracting function in strategic business initiatives and planning activities.
