About The Position

This role sits at the center of Sourcing transformation, combining strategy, execution, and innovation to elevate Procurement’s enterprise impact. The individual will operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while driving delivery of critical initiatives across the function. Lead business management for a ~60-person Sourcing organization, overseeing operating cadence, governance, reporting, portfolio priorities, and execution against strategic objectives. Serve as a strategic advisor to the VP of Sourcing, helping shape the function’s strategy, roadmap, and forward-looking priorities across sourcing, vendor resilience, and transformation. Drive key Procurement initiatives tied to BMO M&A activity, including due diligence, transition planning, integration support, and alignment with third-party risk and operating model requirements. Lead cross-functional project and program management across strategic priorities, ensuring disciplined execution of roadmap items, issue resolution, stakeholder alignment, and delivery against milestones. Own the development and advancement of the Sourcing innovation agenda, including process simplification, digitalization, AI/Copilot use cases, and technology enablement initiatives such as ZIP and future tools. Support the design and implementation of the group’s broader strategy, including governance enhancements, savings tracking, reporting modernization, contract pipeline visibility, and category management evolution. Help shape the people and change agenda for the function, including team communications, development planning, engagement initiatives, and change management required to embed new ways of working.
