About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Manager to join their Hyperforce Runtime Platform - Test Infrastructure Automation and Management team. This role involves planning and directing activities to build, support, and grow Test Infrastructure Automation Services for GCP, and to enhance developer productivity through AI. The successful candidate will drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with multi-functional teams, architects, product owners, and engineers. They will make critical decisions that contribute to product success and be proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of industry experience, with 3+ years in a people leadership role of Test Automation teams.
  • Expertise with Infrastructure Management services in the Kubernetes ecosystem.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Service Mesh architecture and Networking fundamentals are desired.
  • Working knowledge of Release Management concepts and cloud-based CI/CD tools such as Spinnaker and GitLab.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and relationships within a highly matrixed organizational structure.
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies, technologies, and tools, with proven success in leading and delivering large-scale initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure and automation.
  • Experience working in a complex team environment, with the ability to deliver under pressure and dependency constraints.
  • Experience with Scrum or other agile development methodologies, with a strong focus on code quality and delivering secure code.

  • Good programming background, ideally with experience in Python and AI automation tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proven ability to navigate team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and facilitate career development discussions.
