About The Position

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Sr. Manager of Social Media to lead the day-to-day operations of the Topps social channels. This is a unique opportunity to shape the voice of one of the most iconic brands in collectibles — combining strategy, creativity, and leadership with hands-on execution. We’re looking for a dynamic leader who can grow large, engaged followings while also rolling up their sleeves to create and post content themselves. You’ll manage and mentor a team of social media professionals, set the standard for quality and creativity, and deliver content that connects with millions of sports fans and collectors worldwide.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of social media experience with a high-profile brand in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of growing large, engaged followings (ideally from 0 → 1M+).
  • Demonstrated success managing and mentoring a social media team.
  • Experience leading sports-focused social media accounts with 1M+ followers required.
  • Deep knowledge of sports, athletes, and sports culture — with the ability to create relevant, timely, and authentic content.
  • History of innovation, creativity, and delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Passion for social media and pop culture.

  • Interest in collectibles and trading cards a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and post daily: Set the tone by actively creating and publishing content, while overseeing and approving the team’s output.
  • Manage & mentor: Coach social media managers and coordinators, ensuring best practices, creativity, and performance.
  • Create compelling content: Partner with creative teams to develop engaging short-form video and still content across platforms.
  • Shape strategy: Build and execute the overall social media strategy, tailoring approaches for launches, live events, and big sports moments.
  • Stay ahead of trends: Monitor platforms, experiment with formats, and make recommendations to drive growth and engagement.
  • Measure & optimize: Analyze performance, share learnings, and continuously improve results against KPIs.
