Responsibilities

  • Develops with Sales Director or Regional Sales VP executable actions in support of the Regional and Global customer strategies for all product lines and your respective customers in your region.
  • Implements executable actions to meet sales targets (New business booking, Margin increases, Accounts Receivable, etc.) and tracks execution to targets for all customers/regions.
  • Establishes the business plan for the dedicated customer group and tracks it regularly.
  • Analyzes significant deviations in business figures, develops countermeasures and an action plan agreed with the supervisor. The agreed action plan shall then be closely monitored, and activities tracked accordingly.
  • Achieves the specific sales, NOP, and acquisition targets for the assigned customer group.
  • Prepares, plans and conducts all necessary acquisition activities in a foresighted manner.
  • Creates, coordinates, approves, and signs quotations according to the relevant rules, and submits them to the customer within the requested timeframe.
  • Conducts purposeful price negotiations with the customer, according to the business plan targets and in close communication with the supervisor.
  • Establishes a close and continuous relationship with the customer groups and decision-influencing persons at the customer, thereby guaranteeing long-term trustful and reliable customer relations.
  • Analyzes customer-driven changes according to claim management targets and creates resulting quotations for customers, coordinates them internally, approves, and signs them according to the relevant rules, and submits them to the customer immediately.
  • Ensures all customer activities are in accordance with the economical and profit targets of JSS.
  • Develops strategies to improve sales and increase customer-specific market shares and converts them accordingly, in close cooperation with the supervisor.
  • Leads by example, setting an example of high standards of ethical business conduct.
  • Helps to create a work environment that values mutual respect and open communication.
  • Is a resource for others, available to speak with employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners about the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and applicable policies.
  • Is proactive in looking for opportunities to discuss ethics and address challenging situations.
  • Responds quickly and effectively to problems, ensuring they are treated with respect by all parties involved.
  • Knows the limits of their authority and avoids actions that exceed them, discussing with a supervisor or the Compliance Officer if unsure.
  • Delegates responsibilities but never delegates authority to individuals who may engage in illegal behavior or unethical activities.
  • Reads the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct of Joyson Safety Systems, understands the content, and signs the Code of Conduct Certification form.
  • Acts in an ethical, honest, and professional manner on behalf of the company and conducts business with integrity, even when making difficult decisions.
  • Completes all online and/or onsite training scheduled in their location related to ethics and compliance topics.
  • Becomes familiar with Joyson Safety Systems' Ethics and Compliance Policies.
  • Reports to their Supervisor, the Executive Committee, the Compliance Department, or any available resources any possible violation of the Laws, the Code of Conduct, or the Company's Policies.
  • Ensures the quality and integrity of data and information related to their job position and department.
