Join our team as the Sr. Manager, Revenue Accounting Operations (Professional Services & Bookings), where you will lead the day-to-day execution and scaling of our professional services revenue operations, ensure consistent compliance with ASC 606, and drive the continued optimization of our contract to cash processes. In this role, you will oversee the accounting operations for complex professional services customer contracts, champion system automation and data integrity across our financial tech stack, and serve as a trusted business partner to cross-functional GTM teams. Central to this role is leading, scaling, and mentoring a high-performing, geographically distributed team. You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture across global time zones, ensuring operational alignment and professional development. You will play a critical role in managing the month-end close cycle, strengthening internal controls, supporting audits, and identifying opportunities to improve systems, data flows, and reporting as the company grows. You will also own the operational reporting for corporate bookings, including related commissions-driven adjustments. This is a highly visible, operationally intensive role that requires strong business judgment, leadership, and the ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic process design.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive revenue accounting and revenue operations experience, with strong expertise in ASC 606; public SaaS company and/or fast-growing enterprise software experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on, administrative-level or power-user experience with Workday and Salesforce, including a proven track record of managing CRM-to-ERP integrations.
• Proven ability to interpret complex contract terms and business requirements and translate them into scalable, automated operational workflows in our systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives that reduce manual Excel work, deepen analytical understanding, and streamline operational accounting workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between GTM teams (Professional Services/Deal Desk) and Accounting to influence operational outcomes without direct authority.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving processes and integrated enterprise systems.
• 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring a team of direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee revenue accounting operations for professional services contracts, including billing, revenue recognition milestones, margin analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and company policy.
• Partner closely with Sales and Deal Desk as the primary operational reviewer of non-standard and amended customer contracts, ensuring operational feasibility, billing scalability, and seamless CRM-to-ERP system flow prior to deal closure.
• Oversee corporate bookings metrics and reporting, ensuring accurate application of internal bookings policies.
• Partner closely with Go-To-Market teams—including Professional Services, Deal Desk, Order Management, Legal, and FP&A—to support deal structuring, resolve billing and downstream revenue issues, and improve Contract-to-Cash velocity.
• Identify, prioritize, and lead initiatives to enhance revenue systems, including CRM to ERM automation and business process enhancements.
• Develop deep operational expertise in our ERP and CRM environments (Workday, Salesforce, and related systems), providing guidance on system usage, troubleshooting integration issues, and supporting scalable data design.
• Lead and contribute to revenue-related special projects, including new product rollouts, CRM/ERP upgrades, policy rollouts, and GTM-led transformation efforts.
• Manage and support external audit activities related to revenue operations and contract-to-cash, serving as a key point of contact to ensure timely, data-backed, and accurate responses.
• Coach and mentor revenue accounting team members, supporting skill development, knowledge sharing, and consistent execution of operational best practices.
• Complete Anaplan training and contribute to the enhancement and ongoing development of internally used Anaplan models to drive better automated reporting and forecasting.
