Position Summary Seeking a Sr Manager, Quality Engineer to join the Medicare Stars Tools & Technology team. Member will participates in QA engineering efforts by conducting testing activities, executing test cases, and reporting defects to the development team. Contributes to the development of test plans and testing strategies, ensuring adherence to QA best practices and industry standards. Collaborates with other QA engineers and teams to address testing challenges and provide valuable insights to enhance overall software quality and testing processes.

Requirements

5-7 years Prior Relevant Work Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification/equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Assesses the effectiveness of critical functions, including test planning, test case development, test execution, and test reporting.
Designs a systematic approach for detecting software defects and determining the severity and priority of identified issues.
Coaches the quality assurance team to enhance capabilities and reinforce standards in alignment with industry trends and software engineering practices.
Conducts most complex evaluations for the quality assurance team to assess the quality of software and applications.
Confers with test automation experts to help optimize the quality assurance processes within the software engineering department.
Delivers a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that outlines the roadmap, timelines, and standards for software projects.
Designs a monitoring system to track project progress and manage expectations to ensure alignment with engineering project goals.
Forecasts the resource requirements for quality assurance activities based on project scope, deadlines, and complexity.
Helps establish and implement metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of the quality assurance initiatives for software projects.
