They also provide oversight to confirm risk analysis, control plans, inspection, supplier quality, and metrology methodology activities are completed. Ensuring customer requirements are defined and all project deliverables meet customer, internal and regulatory requirements including all applicable standards.

Requirements

Strong leadership skills.
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
Minimum of six (6) years of experience in people management and team leadership.
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant practical experience.
Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.

Nice To Haves

Strong preference towards candidates with an AS9100 background.
Aerospace and defense industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Establish key performance metrics to monitor and improve process performance
Manage hiring, retention, and performance management for the Quality Assurance team
Assess quality trends and drive continuous improvement for processes and product quality performance, including root cause corrective actions
Participate in new product development
Review and prepare test plans and test cases to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines
Maintain high standards of quality activities within your team by establishing best practices and habits
Accountability for quality control and quality assurance activities at the site
