About The Position

The Senior Manager, Prospect Development, leads prospect research, portfolio management, analytics, and data governance activities that support AltaMed's fundraising strategy. The role oversees prospect identification, qualification, cultivation, and solicitation strategies, wealth analysis, CRM optimization, and advancement services operations while supervising staff and providing strategic insights to strengthen donor pipeline development and fundraising performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Data analytics, Computer Science, or related field required, or an equivalent combination of advanced education, certification, or specialized expertise within a complex nonprofit.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in prospect development, prospect research, prospect management, or related advancement services or front-line fundraising roles within nonprofit, healthcare, or higher education settings required.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or project management experience, including responsibility for managing analytical projects, small teams, or strategic initiatives, required.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience with prospect research platforms such as (iWave, LexisNexis, WealthEngine, Wealth Screening tools) and CRM systems (Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce, or comparable platforms preferred.
• Demonstrate experience with data analysis, statistical methodology, and business intelligence tools.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably 6-8 years of progressive experience in prospect development, prospect research, prospect management, or related advancement services or front-line fundraising roles within nonprofit, healthcare, or higher education settings.
