Sr Manager, Product - Electronic Trading
About The Position
We are seeking a Sr Manager to join the Equity Product and Trading Solutions team at FCM. In this role, you will help drive the development and evolution of our core electronic trading platform, including order management and routing, FIX connectivity, data, and risk controls. The primary purpose of this role is to take part in driving and shaping the firm’s electronic trading infrastructure and be accountable for the entire product life cycle from planning to implementation and adoption. As an integral member of the product team, you will work closely with technology, trading consultants, operations, risk, compliance, legal, data science, and other internal partners to deliver resilient, scalable, and differentiated electronic trading solutions.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing, cross‑functional product delivery squads using modern product management practices
- Strong understanding of the technical and operational components and workflows associated with electronic equity trading
- Proven ability to act as the voice of the customer, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technology teams
- Self-starter who embraces pace over perfection and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented, positive, and forward-thinking, with a passion for building innovative trading solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics to diverse audiences
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Intellectually curious, with a strong desire for continuous learning
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with electronic equity trading concepts and market structure (a plus, not required)
