About The Position

What is the Opportunity? In the role of Sr. Manager, Segment Performance & Management, you help convert intelligence into accountability. You are the person who makes the opportunity measurable and fundable. What will you do? Segment profitability: Define, maintain, and track the cross-border segment profitability metrics. Maintain by persona where data supports it to track revenue, and cost-to-serve by segment. Product Analytics: Own the product analytics function for the cross-border segment. Track product penetration, attach rates, wallet share, and product revenue by persona cohort. Identify high value product combinations to generate entrenched and profitable cross-border relationships. Surface underperforming products and cohort insights. Support product development and prioritization decisions with client-level and financial evidence. Relationship Depth Measurement: Own the relationship depth framework to assess, track and quantify gaps. Segment Performance Metrics: Own the internal performance metrics framework, establish baselines, set targets, and produce a regular performance view for segment leadership. Business Case Development: Support the business case development to justify investment in the cross-border segment for new products, distribution initiatives, technology builds, partnerships, and budget requests. Governance and Data Stewardship: Operate within the Client Data Domain governance framework at all times. Maintain the usage and governance framework of end-to-end client data; documentation of data sources, methodologies, and assumptions. Participate in governance reviews and raise data use questions proactively. What do you need to succeed? Must-have: Financial and commercial acumen: Able to build and maintain a segment profitability view, construct credible business cases, and translate business performance into clear narratives for senior leadership. Comfortable working with Finance teams and holding your own in budget and investment conversations. Product analytics expertise: Deep understanding of how to analyze product performance, wallet share, and client profitability in a multi-product banking context. Rigour and attention to detail: Your work will be used to make investment decisions. Accuracy, transparency of methodology, and intellectual honesty about uncertainty are non-negotiable. Governance and compliance orientation: Deep familiarity with data governance principles and cross-jurisdiction data use requirements. Communication and business case writing: Able to clearly and persuasively communicate with senior audiences. Produces business cases and performance reports that are concise, well-structured, and designed to drive decisions. Cross-functional collaboration: Able to work across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and business teams to get complex, cross-functional work done without direct authority. Builds trust through rigour and follow-through. Cross-border and financial services knowledge: Understanding of the Canadian and US banking landscapes. Familiarity with cross-border financial behaviour — how clients move money, build credit, accumulate assets, and make banking choices across two jurisdictions — is a strong asset. What’s in it for you?
