About The Position

EisnerAmper is seeking an Sr. Manager with Legal Professional Services Industry experience to join their Outsourced Accounting & CFO practice in a fully remote role. The Sr. Manager will assist clients in transforming their businesses by mitigating risk, overcoming challenges, meeting deadlines, and identifying workforce solutions. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be available to work within Eastern and/or Central time zones. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in accounting or related field
  • 6+ years of relevant accounting, audit and/or financial statements preparation experience in the legal professional services industry
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of CLIO software is required
  • Prior business development experience

Nice To Haves

  • Public accounting experience is preferred
  • CPA certification or exams passed is preferred
  • An understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (FASB/SFAS) or other comprehensive basis of accounting
  • Accounting back-office experience
  • Aptitude for developing and maintaining a thorough working knowledge of accounting software and systems.
  • Proficiency with applicable software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organization skills/goal orientation/self-motivation.
  • Ability to handle multiple client files and deadlines at one time.
  • Ability to handle pressure in a positive professional manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and direct financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or investment activities for multiple firm clients.
  • Prepare financial information, including financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, budgets, and reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Evaluate needs for fund procurement and surplus investment, making appropriate recommendations.
  • Monitor financial ratios and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting and financial staff, recommending and implementing actions.
  • Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.
  • Communicate regularly with boards, bankers, investors, and constituents, which may include preparing for or hosting board presentations.
  • This position may require occasional non-local or overnight travel for client visits, training, meetings, and/or other business-related purposes.
