The Senior Manager, Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Design & Governance designs and delivers organization design consulting projects and advisory services, employing substantial problem-solving and analytical capabilities, strategic thinking and insight generation, and effective facilitation, communication and relational skills. This role leads and executes internal organization design strategic projects from start to finish, including project design and scoping, aligning stakeholder expectations, project management, providing updates, and timely project delivery. The position assesses and diagnoses organizational needs, leads change initiatives, and builds change and organizational design capability to deliver leading practice organizational development solutions in support of TD's strategic plan. The role conducts organization design analysis, including employing strategic frameworks, interpreting issues and opportunities, conducting internal and external benchmark analysis, generating insights, and preparing presentations and materials to provide findings and recommendations to help solve operating model, organization design, and governance issues for executives. It applies job analysis methodology to roles in the context of overall organization structures and recommends job levels. The Senior Manager effectively facilitates executive workshops and communicates key insights, ideas, and strategies to an executive-level audience in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. They present results, engage stakeholders in discussion on executing next steps, and assist in the implementation of recommendations as appropriate. The role works with business executives to build relationships and maintain an understanding of their business, including facilitating workshops with stakeholders and keeping business leaders, HR business partners, and stakeholders up-to-date. It collaborates closely with HR Business Partners to develop effective solutions to organization issues aligned with strategy and TDBG organization design principles and practices. The position increases organization design capability in the HR Business Partner community to ensure optimal engagement and partnership. It contributes to the development and maintenance of the internal Organization Design Practice, which includes methodology, principles, processes, tools, and materials. The Senior Manager also takes on and executes internal projects as assigned.
