About The Position

Specialty Care Integrated Insights and Strategy (IIS) is evolving into an AI-native organization, serving as both a builder and user of AI capabilities to improve strategy work. This role supports a broad portfolio of AI initiatives within SC IIS, owning some initiatives and collaborating with colleagues on others. The IIS team consists of internal consultants and brand strategists who partner with senior commercial leaders and GCA Centers of Excellence to address business challenges and enhance brand value. This secondment offers direct exposure to how a commercial analytics function adapts to AI, visibility with IIS and GCA leadership, and the chance to shape scalable capabilities for Specialty Care and beyond.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 6+ years of experience.
  • Degree in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
  • 6+ years in consulting, market research, market analytics, insights, or strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and deliver work independently across multiple simultaneous priorities.
  • Curiosity about and early adoption of AI in a commercial or analytical setting.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative approach with strong listening skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Comfort operating amid ambiguity and helping build new processes without a fully defined playbook.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree with at least 5+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 1+ years of experience.
  • Hands-on exposure to AI tools in a commercial or analytical setting, including LLMs or decision-support applications.
  • Familiarity with Pfizer GCA capabilities and the IIS operating context.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical market research and commercial analytics methodologies (forecasting, market insights, promotional performance, primary and secondary data).
  • Prior experience in a strategic initiatives, program support, or transformation-support role.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a set of initiatives that anchor how SC IIS operates in an AI-enabled environment, carrying them from framing through delivery and keeping them current and reliable as the work evolves.
  • Support the operation of AI governance forums, including the AI for Insights Council and the monthly SC IIS knowledge-share forum, helping keep AI insight work across the function consistent, well documented, and aligned to shared standards.
  • Support the capture of completed AI work as reusable case studies.
  • Contribute to how the function adapts its ways of working to AI, including developing and pioneering the human-in-the-loop validation and maintenance processes that keep AI tools and capabilities accurate, current, and reliable over time.
  • Provide hands-on support to the build, incubation, scaling, and maintenance of core SC IIS AI capabilities, including identifying opportunities for agent connectivity, working alongside the leads driving those efforts and helping move capabilities from idea into real use across the team.
  • Champion and socialize adoption of the AI tools and capabilities IIS builds across the SC IIS team, helping colleagues embed them into how they work and running enablement and build sessions that drive real, sustained uptake.
  • Help drive and measure the adoption and impact of the function's AI work: defining how adoption and impact are measured, piloting and tracking those measures, and making results visible.
  • Share what the function is learning by surfacing and elevating capabilities, case studies, and results across SC IIS, GCA, and the broader commercial organization.
  • Keep current on AI developments both outside Pfizer, across the industry and in healthcare and pharma specifically, and inside it, tracking what is being built and applied across the organization.
  • Bring what is relevant back to SC IIS and share it with the team so the function learns from work happening elsewhere.
