About The Position

Implementing documentation, tools and processes to ensure alignment and compliance with required government and regulatory standards, as well as internal Company governance, related to employment, fair employment practices and other employee-related areas. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or related field.
  • 5 years of HR/Compliance experience, including multi-country or multi-state oversight that includes hands-on experience interpreting and applying US federal, state, and local employment laws.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or compliance certification (e.g., CCEP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR practices related to US Government Contract compliance, OFCCP and DFARS.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and change leadership across matrixed and cross-border organizations.
  • Proven track record drafting, updating, and harmonizing HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs in partnership with Legal/Labor Relations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills; ability to translate regulatory concepts into practical guidance.
  • Experience with HRIS and compliance monitoring tools; proficiency with data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience designing and delivering HR compliance training for HR, managers, and employees; comfortable facilitating sessions and measuring training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a global-first HR compliance approach by standardizing policies, controls, and tools, and customizing locally to ensure compliance with country-specific laws and practices.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve documentation, tools, and processes that enable compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance across fair employment practices, company policies, and government contracts.
  • Monitor evolving laws and regulations across the region and translate new regulations into actionable requirements, controls, and standard work.
  • Chair or participate in compliance councils/working groups.
  • Lead and support global initiatives and standards deployment; collaborate across regions to harmonize processes and share best practices.
  • Support annual and ongoing HR compliance initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Advise on policy interpretation, lead policy updates/enhancements, and execute a triennial review cadence with stakeholders and SMEs to ensure policies remain current, clear, and auditable.
  • Draft, update, and harmonize HR policies, handbooks, and SOPs in partnership with Legal and Labor/Employee Relations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for HR, managers, and employees on critical topics (e.g., anti-discrimination, harassment prevention, wage and hour, working time, leave, immigration, data privacy).
  • Contribute to global policy alignment and change adoption across regions.
  • Build and deliver targeted compliance training (e.g., hiring practices, government contracting, contingent labor) for HR and business audiences; measure effectiveness with completion, comprehension, and incident reduction metrics; contribute content.
  • Serve as an internal consulting partner to HR, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders on US Executive Orders, multi-jurisdictional laws, and global regulations; provide actionable guidance that resolves issues and prevents recurrence.
  • Develop and enhance cross-functional HR compliance processes (e.g., Hiring from Competitors, Citizenship Verification, Hiring/Selection Assessments, restructuring, onboarding, contingent workforce) to reduce cycle time, improve data integrity, and minimize compliance findings.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations, regulatory issues, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Legal on agency inquiries, complaints, and remediation plans.
  • Support due diligence and integration for M&A or site transitions, including cross-border regulatory considerations.
  • Lead complex compliance projects and remediation initiatives from scoping through sustainment, delivering on-time outcomes that reduce risk and improve audit readiness.
  • Provide subject-matter support outside the assigned region as needed; coordinate with global and regional leaders to ensure consistent implementation.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned across regions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Focal for one or more Labor sub-risk areas: define controls and monitoring, test control effectiveness, remediate gaps, and escalate risks; leverage findings to refine policies and training; and inform the Annual Risk Assessment with Legal and Compliance teams.
  • Provide timely, expert guidance to HR, COEs, Legal, and Compliance on co-employment/contingent labor, talent acquisition processes, export control/US Person considerations, citizenship requirements for government contracts.
