About The Position

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager, GDCL oUS E2E (CA), located in Ontario, Canada. The Sr. Manager, GDCL oUS E2E (CA) plays a critical leadership role within Deliver – Supply Chain & Operations (SC&O), with end‑to‑end accountability for outbound distribution and logistics execution supporting the Canadian market. This role drives operational excellence across planning, distribution, logistics, and customer fulfillment while ensuring service, cost, quality, and compliance objectives are met. The position partners closely with global, regional, and local stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable supply chain outcomes that directly support patient care and business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field).
  • Significant progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing end‑to‑end distribution or logistics operations in a regulated environment.
  • Strong people‑leadership experience with the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex operational data and translate insights into action.
  • English required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience supporting cross‑border or North America distribution models.
  • Background in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience leading transformation or continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
  • Strong change‑management capabilities in evolving organizational environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • French proficiency preferred.
  • Limited, primarily North America travel.
  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end‑to‑end leadership for outbound distribution and logistics execution supporting the Canadian market, ensuring consistent service and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration across Planning, Customer Service, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to optimize delivery performance and inventory outcomes.
  • Own performance management for key supply chain KPIs including service level, lead time, cost, and reliability, driving corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and distribution processes using data‑driven insights and structured problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements across cross‑border and distribution activities.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with external logistics providers and internal global teams to manage service agreements, performance, and risk mitigation.
