Strategy & Vision Serve as the owner of franchisee communications strategy for Burger King - setting the vision, framework, and standards for how the brand communicates with its franchisee network Translate complex business priorities into compelling, audience-first communications that drive franchisee alignment, engagement, and in-restaurant execution Partner closely with the Director of Communications and senior leadership across the business to ensure franchisee communications are integrated into broader brand and business strategy Anticipate the needs of the franchisee audience and proactively build communication plans that get ahead of the business, rather than reacting to it Serve as a senior advisor to leadership on the most effective ways to reach, engage, and influence the franchisee community Team Leadership & Development Directly manage and develop a team across franchisee communications and company restaurant communications Set clear goals and priorities for each direct report, ensuring accountability and a high standard of work across the team Create a collaborative, high-performing team culture that encourages innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement Identify growth opportunities and actively invest in the development of each team member Channel & Content Ownership Own the franchisee communications channel ecosystem - including governance, optimization, and evolution of platforms, tools, and formats Ensure consistent messaging, brand voice, and strategic connectivity across all franchisee-facing channels (weekly newsletters, webcasts, franchisee meetings, video content, advisory board communications, and more) Actively contribute to content creation across channels - writing, editing, and refining communications with the same level of craft expected of the team Lead the team in pushing the envelope on new communication strategies, formats, and tools to drive stronger franchisee engagement and execution Oversee reporting and analytics across channels, using data to guide strategy and demonstrate impact to leadership Cross-Functional Partnership Build and maintain strong relationships across Operations, Marketing, Tech & Digital, Finance, Development, Legal, and other functions to stay ahead of business priorities and ensure communications are accurate, timely, and effective Act as the communications lead for franchisee-facing moments, including the annual Franchisee Convention and bi-annual regional meetings Serve as a key escalation point for ad hoc and crisis communications impacting the franchisee audience, working in close partnership with the Director of Communications Represent the communications function in senior stakeholder conversations, influencing how the business thinks about franchisee engagement Benefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness.
