As a Sr Manager FP&A, Technology Finance you will: Lead Core FP&A Routines: Drive the Actuals, Forecast, Annual Plan, and Long-Range Planning (LRP) processes for the Technology pyramid, ensuring accuracy, insight, and alignment with enterprise goals. Represent the Technology organization in enterprise-level financial review forums, using strong storytelling and analytical skills to clearly communicate expense drivers and performance. Proactively assess & analyze total technology key performance indicators to pressure test financial assumptions, accuracy, mitigate risks, and drive opportunities. Strategically influence and support the day-to-day needs of the Technology organization to maximize its impact across the organization. Immerse yourself in the business to become an expert while bringing enterprise financial insights & external perspectives to your partners. Strong communication and collaborative skills required to foster relationships across Technology senior leaders, Accounting, FP&A, Human Resources and Sourcing. A successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, be accountable and agile to ever-changing business dynamics, and be highly organized and process oriented to guide the broader team through recurring FP&A routines. About you: B.A/B.S degree in accounting or finance, MBA, a plus 6+ years of relevant Finance experience (including FP&A experience) Outstanding communication and relationship building skills, with a team-oriented focus Excellent communication & ability to synthesize key stories to senior leaders Entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical, decision-making, project management and organizational skills Curious and credible thought leader This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.

Requirements

  • B.A/B.S degree in accounting or finance, MBA, a plus
  • 6+ years of relevant Finance experience (including FP&A experience)
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills, with a team-oriented focus
  • Excellent communication & ability to synthesize key stories to senior leaders
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical, decision-making, project management and organizational skills
  • Curious and credible thought leader
