The Frontlines of Communities in the United States (FOCUS) Program within Legal, Compliance and Corporate Responsibility partners with healthcare institutions, government agencies, community health centers, and other community partners (FOCUS Partners) to make routine bloodborne virus (HIV/HCV/HBV) screening a standard of medical care, reduce the number of those who are diagnosed late and help facilitate linkage to care, expand dialogue on these issues with internal and external stakeholders, including government, change public perceptions and overcome stigma that may discourage testing, and utilize the FOCUS framework/methodology to improve screening and linkage to care for oncology. FOCUS Regional Directors (RDs) are field based throughout the United States. FOCUS Program Partners are identified independently by FOCUS Personnel and are selected based on the potential for instructive and beneficial public health outcomes. We are seeking a field-based Senior Manager, FOCUS to join our team and support statewide activities. This individual contributor may also work cross-functionally with Government Affairs and Policy teams, Medical Affairs, and Public Affairs. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across multiple partner sites, overseeing program execution, quality improvement, data integrity, dissemination, and budget alignment while proactively elevating barriers and equity gaps. The Senior Manager serves as a key connector between external partners and internal teams—including Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Public Affairs—supporting statewide government collaboration, proposal development, and new partnership operationalization. By driving consistent partner engagement, evidence‑based practices, and scalable innovation, this position is essential to maximizing FOCUS’ public health impact, advancing health equity, and aligning program execution with Gilead’s core values of integrity, excellence, accountability, teamwork, and inclusion. Reporting to the Senior Regional Director, Partnership, Practice and Innovation, you will assist in the assessment, development and execution of a state plan of action (POA) with partnerships that support best practices to improve and sustain routine HIV, HCV, HBV screening and linkage to care.
