The Sr. Manager, Finance Transformation plays a hands-on role in executing finance modernization initiatives that improve efficiency, enhance decision support, and support scalable growth. This role is intended for a self-directed finance professional with strong technical and project management skills who can own initiatives end-to-end and consistently roll up their sleeves to deliver results. The role partners closely with Finance leadership, IT, and business stakeholders to redesign processes, implement tools, and turn transformation strategies into delivered outcomes. The Sr. Manager will personally lead projects, manage timelines, and drive adoption—ensuring initiatives move from concept to execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required
  • 7–10 years of progressive finance experience
  • 3–5 years leading or directly executing finance transformation initiatives or projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects end-to-end, including timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables
  • ERP and finance systems transformation
  • FP&A modernization

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of Finance Transformation initiatives aligned with overall finance and business priorities
  • Own defined workstreams across FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, Tax, and Shared Services
  • Translate high-level strategy into detailed project plans, milestones, and deliverables
  • Track progress, risks, and value realization; escalate issues and recommend solutions
  • Lead hands-on process improvement efforts, from current-state assessment through implementation
  • Build and document standardized finance processes and workflows across regions and business units
  • Partner with Shared Services to improve transactional efficiency and service quality
  • Apply continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) to deliver measurable results
  • Act as a finance project lead for system enhancements and implementations
  • Translate finance requirements into clear business cases and functional specifications
  • Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization of new tools
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities (RPA, workflow tools, analytics)
  • Build and maintain dashboards, models, and reporting tools that support decision-making
  • Develop scenario analyses and forecasting models to support business planning
  • Improve data quality, consistency, and usability in partnership with IT and Finance teams
  • Lead day-to-day change management for assigned initiatives
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and communications to support adoption
  • Serve as a point person between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders
  • Proactively address resistance and implementation challenges
  • Track project milestones, benefits realization, and ROI for assigned initiatives
  • Maintain project plans, status updates, and issue logs
  • Ensure initiatives align with internal controls and compliance requirements
