About The Position

The Senior Manager, Direct to Consumer is a pivotal leadership role at T-Mobile, responsible for orchestrating the distribution and sell-in strategy for the company's fiber addresses across various market segments, including new passings and mature passings. This position demands a strategic mindset and operational rigor, as the leader will manage a team of Territory Managers to ensure that every home passed converts into revenue through effective staffing, sales execution, and installation processes. The Senior Manager will work closely with joint venture partners to align on install capacity and sales forecasts, ensuring that market launch plans are executed seamlessly and effectively. In this role, the Senior Manager will not only oversee the strategic planning of the fiber address portfolio but will also engage in hands-on problem-solving and team development. By leveraging local competitive insights and maintaining strong relationships with Account Managers, the leader will drive performance against monthly and quarterly targets, while also identifying opportunities for improvement in underperforming areas. This position is integral to T-Mobile's success in expanding its fiber footprint and achieving operational excellence in the Direct to Consumer segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Combination of education and experience deemed equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience in fiber, broadband, or telecommunications with direct exposure to network build, market launch, or Joint Venture operating models. (Required)
  • 4-7 years People leadership - Experience in managing, coaching, and developing direct report(s), ideally leading a field- or territory-based team. (Required)
  • Leading by Influence Ability to influence, lead, and coach a distributed field team while managing complex external JV relationships. (Required)
  • Analytical Insight Strong analytical skills - comfortable building and defending address-level and market-level forecasts, and translating HHP and capacity data into an actionable sell-in plan. (Required)
  • Business Economics Deep understanding of fiber build economics (Required)
  • Partnership Management Partnership management, negotiation, and operating cadence (Required)
  • Cross Function Collaboration Strong cross-functional partnership skills (Required)
  • Market Intelligence Ability to synthesize local competitive and market intelligence into a clear, prioritized action plan. (Required)
