  • Experience working with healthcare, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated data.
  • Experience helping establish a new team, service, or operating model in a developing or greenfield environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of domain data analysts and data stewards responsible for day-to-day implementation of data governance and data quality controls.
  • Implement and maintain the CoverMyMeds data enablement framework, including policies, standards, and procedures for data management, data quality, lineage, metadata, and responsible data use.
  • Operationalize data governance capabilities across data quality, business and technical metadata, data lineage, data cataloging, and data product controls.
  • Partner with domain data officers, data owners, enterprise architecture, IT security, legal, compliance, and technology teams to establish accountability and embed governance practices into business operations.

  • Guide identification, assessment, prioritization, and remediation of data quality issues in partnership with data owners and technology teams.
  • Define and monitor data enablement metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive adoption and change by communicating the value of new data governance services, building cross-functional support, and helping teams succeed in a developing operating model.
  • Promote compliance with applicable data privacy requirements and internal data security policies, including considerations related to GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
  • Coach and support team members through clear goals, ongoing feedback, collaborative problem-solving, and a service-oriented leadership approach.
