This role is responsible for leading the US/MX/BR Customs Team and reporting to the Global Head. The position involves the management and further development of the Customs & Trade Compliance program in the US, MX, and BR to mitigate risk to the company. This includes classifications, valuations, training programs, manuals, export controls, broker strategy, and other customs and foreign trade topics. The role also ensures compliance with the IMMEX program in Mexico, provides strategic support to mitigate customs costs (e.g., section 301 tariffs), supports the rollout of global projects (Export Controls, Free Trade Agreements), reviews and implements legal changes, advises on complex supply chains and strategic decisions, and supports external and internal customs audits and self-assessments. Additionally, the role involves managing stakeholders and customs brokers.
