About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Supply Chain (Compute Hardware Sourcing & Operations) to build, lead, and scale our end-to-end supply chain function for the compute technology that powers our AI Factory and data center deployments. This role owns sourcing strategy, supplier management, material planning, procurement, logistics, and delivery execution for GPUs, GPU servers, memory (DRAM/HBM), compute nodes, and other server-level compute hardware that drives training and inference capacity. You will establish structure, balance speed with risk, and create scalable supply chain systems that support rapid growth without compromising reliability, cost discipline, or execution confidence. You will partner closely with hardware engineering, quality, and data center operations teams to translate rapid compute deployment schedules into executable supply plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of supply chain leadership driving complex, high-value contract negotiations with GPU, server, and memory OEM suppliers covering pricing, supply commitments, quality terms, and technology roadmap alignment across compute hardware, server infrastructure, or manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling supply chain operations in startup or high-growth companies
  • Strong experience with global sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract manufacturing for compute hardware, including establishing and leading supplier QBRs and performance management cadences, plus experience leading or contributing to ERP/MRP implementations across planning, procurement, and inventory workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort operating with ambiguity and incomplete data, paired with strong executive presence to translate supply chain risk into business impact and influence senior leadership and cross-functional partners without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale the compute hardware supply chain function in a high-growth startup, owning end-to-end strategy across planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, and delivery for GPUs, servers, and memory as a hands-on leader engaging directly with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Lead the full RFI/RFQ/RFP process through bid award and contracting, defining sourcing strategies for long-lead and constrained components (GPUs, server chassis, memory/DRAM/HBM) while leading supplier selection and qualification for OEMs, ODMs, and contract manufacturers.
  • Establish and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers to drive accountability on delivery, quality, cost, and capacity, backed by governance tools like scorecards, escalation paths, and performance improvement plans.
  • Establish material planning and forecasting processes aligned to AI Factory deployment schedules, and lead ERP/MRP implementation with Finance, Operations, and IT standardizing demand/supply planning, BOM accuracy, lead times, and inventory policies for GPU, server, and memory components.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) BOM readiness by partnering with Hardware Engineering to ensure new GPU and server platforms have a sourceable, cost-validated supply plan ahead of launch.
  • Own end-to-end logistics for compute hardware (freight, international shipping, customs, site-level coordination) and support rapid schedule changes and executive escalations tied to GPU/server availability.
  • Identify and mitigate risks tied to GPU allocation, semiconductor dynamics, memory availability, and geopolitics; drive cost initiatives (should-cost analysis, TCO optimization); and build dashboards/KPIs tracking supplier performance and risk, partnering with Quality and Hardware Engineering on audits.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay plus meaningful, lasting impact on the work you do.
