Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years in purchasing or commodity management within automotive/manufacturing.
- Strong cost analysis and negotiation skills; knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and cost modeling tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with global suppliers.
- Perform cost breakdowns and build cost models to validate supplier quotes.
- Drive value engineering initiatives to achieve design-to-cost objectives.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Finance on new launches.
- Monitor market trends and mitigate supply chain risks.
