At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we're seeking a Sr. Manager of Sales Operations to enhance commercial excellence and operational efficiency across our organization. You'll contribute to optimizing sales processes, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing strategic initiatives that enable our commercial teams to better serve customers. Managing a successful team, you'll collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and other key stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that support growth while ensuring operational excellence. Requirements

  • BS/Masters Degree plus 12 years of experience in sales operations, commercial excellence, or related business functions preferred preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (especially Salesforce.com) and business intelligence tools
  • Strong expertise in sales performance analytics, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales incentive programs and compensation structures
  • Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellence in data analysis, visualization, and presentation of insights to executive audiences
  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively in a matrix organization
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with sales enablement tools and technologies
  • Ability to travel up to 2-3 times a year or as needed
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and business process governance
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Experience with change management and organizational development
  • Ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration, Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Industry certifications in sales operations, project management, or process improvement methodologies valued
  • 3+ years of people management experience leading cross-functional teams preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and database tools preferred
  • Foreign language skills valued but not required
