DAFgiving360™ is an independent nonprofit organization created to increase charitable giving in the U.S. We offer a donor-advised fund program and related philanthropic tools and guidance that empower donors to incorporate charitable planning into their everyday lives and make a bigger difference in the world. Since our founding in 1999 as an 501(c)(3) public charity, DAFgiving360 donors have recommended over $50 billion in grants to more than 295,000 charities. DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities. Reporting to the Director of the Charitable Strategies Group (CSG) at DAFgiving360, the Sr. Manager is primarily responsible for reviewing illiquid and other complex noncash asset contributions for gift acceptance. The Sr. Manager role sits within CSG, which is the team of experts dedicated to performing due diligence on and ultimately to process illiquid and other complex noncash asset contributions to DAFgiving360, including but not limited to: Closely held business interests (C corp, LLC, LP, and S corp), Real estate (residential and commercial), Restricted stock and equity compensation, Life insurance, Cryptocurrency, Artwork and other collectibles, Other complex processes, such as foundation dissolution asset transfer, trust and estate gifts, and other trust terminations. As Sr. Manager you will manage a territory, in partnership with your colleagues in Business Development and Charitable Consulting at DAFgiving360, and work directly with donors, their advisors, and corporate and business lawyers to manage incoming inquiries and conversations about illiquid and complex noncash contributions. The Sr. Manager understands and articulates charitable planning issues effectively, using a consultative approach to provide agnostic guidance on charitable giving strategies to support comprehensive wealth management solutions to HNW and UHNW clients and their advisors. As a subject matter expert, the Sr. Manager partners closely with internal partners to provide educational support for client and advisor questions and planning needs. To be effective in this role, you must be able to communicate clearly and compellingly on highly complex charitable topics with clients and colleagues who possess widely varying levels of subject matter expertise, from novice to expert.
