About The Position

This position is a technical managerial role and is responsible for leading and directing the strategy, roadmap, design, development, delivery, and production support of one or more business systems. In addition, this position manages contract and budgeting for assigned applications. Positions located in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York follow a hybrid work model to allow for a more collaborative working environment. Candidates responding to this post must independently possess the eligibility to work in the United States, for any employer, at the date of hire. This position is ineligible for employment Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum eight (8) years or more of progressive direct and/or related experience managing development or service delivery teams.
  • Experience with Business Systems preferred.
  • Ability to analyze problems and solutions, including analysis of advantages and disadvantages, and make decisions.
  • Ability to relate business needs to system capabilities and to fully understand the role of the systems and impacts to the business.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated success or ability to retain highly engaged, high performing teams.
  • Background and drug screen

  • ITIL Foundation Certificate
  • Project Management Experience
  • Agile development experience

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the subject matter expert and platform owner for all assigned systems.
  • Demonstrates a detailed understanding of platform architecture and how customers interact with the systems.
  • Participates in all platform enhancement projects to ensure reliability, scalability, functionality, capacity, and performance are not adversely impacted.
  • Provides day to day oversight of the systems and functionality. This includes approval of all changes made to the environment and ownership of critical problem resolution.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, assessing performance and development of team members.
  • Defines and enforces application best practices, standards, and architectural guidelines.
  • Lead team to support key business initiatives independently.
  • Work with stakeholder teams in delivering large projects.
  • Manages contracts and budget for assigned applications.
  • Provides effective leadership in developing highly engaged, high-performance Teams.
  • Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
