Sr Manager Business Analytics & Insights

Arcutis Biotherapeutics US,
$150,000 - $165,000

About The Position

The Senior Manager Business Analytics & Insights is a hands-on analytics role supporting Arcutis' primary care and dermatology commercial effort with primary focus on commercial analytics, performance tracking & assessments. This individual will own end-to-end forecasting, build predictive models, and track key performance metrics that inform commercial planning and leadership decisions. Market research is a limited, vendor-managed component of the role (roughly 10 percent), not the focus. Ideal candidate will be an immediate contributor comfortable navigating complex data, synthesizing actionable insights, and delivering clear, persuasive recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years in pharma or biotech commercial analytics, insights, or forecasting. Dermatology or immunology strongly preferred; primary care exposure is a plus.
  • Consulting or vendor-side pedigree (ZS, IQVIA, or similar) is valued. The ideal candidate can build models independently and contribute effectively from day one.
  • Preferred technical tools include advanced Excel, SQL, statistical and forecasting platforms such as R or Python, and pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva, or claims/prescription data sets. Practical, hands-on advanced analytics, forecasting and modeling skill. Builds the models directly, not just reviews them.
  • Strong slide craft (PowerPoint), able to build a board-ready deck without handing it off.
  • Experience scoping and managing market research vendors.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, commercial-stage environment with limited hand-holding.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on business questions, pressure-test assumptions, translate analytics into practical recommendations, and support execution of commercial priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain models and analytics that inform primary care commercial planning, brand strategy, and potential indication expansion into additional dermatology markets.
  • Turn analysis into executive-ready slides, owning the storytelling and the build, not just the underlying math.
  • Develop patient, prescriber, and market models that hold up to scrutiny and drive planning assumptions.
  • Manage the occasional market research study through vendors. This is a light, secondary part of the role, not a primary responsibility.
  • Deliver insights that shape analytics, modeling and forecasting assumptions, resourcing, and go-to-market decisions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales, market access, and finance to pressure-test and land recommendations.
